Our aquatics facility was built to host the US National Swimming and Diving Championships in 1959, and since then has remained the premier swimming facility in the Bay Area.

Located in the rolling hills of Los Altos Hills, our swimming facility is one of the few country clubs in northern California with an Olympic Size swimming pool. Today, programs include year-round lap swimming, swim teams, master swim program, and swim lessons & instruction for all ages.

Our development programs can fit any age or skill set with programs such as our private and group swim lessons, the summer swim team, and our masters swim program. All of our programs are overseen by our exceptional Aquatics Director and 2004 Olympic Swimmer, Dana Kirk and will exceed even the highest standards. We also offer our pool side Barracuda Grill in the summer months.

Dear Members:

As mentioned earlier this week, the Board was apprised of an error in the builder's quote for the club renovations.   As a result, we paused the information sessions scheduled for this week to evaluate the implications of this development.  We also discussed member input to date regarding the overall project.   The Board determined that more time is needed to continue to engage with members regarding the overall scope and scale of the project and as such, we are cancelling the special member meeting scheduled for September 13th.  We will continue with the information sessions scheduled over the next two weeks to solicit further feedback from members regarding the scope and design of the project.  Based upon this additional feedback we will re-engage a bidding process to further evaluate project costs and overall financial impact to the Club.  We expect to re-schedule the member meeting to early December.  We appreciate all of the input and support from members.

As a reminder, information sessions will be held on the dates/locations listed below.  Members of the New Construction Committee and select Board members will be on hand to engage in discussion of the project, solicit feedback and answer questions.

FHCC offers a wonderful "Learn to Swim Program" for all ages, based on the American Red Cross Curriculum.  We emphasize on the adaptation to a new environment, and making the "non-swimmer" to "swimmer" transition a comfortable and enjoyable one.  All of our lessons are taught by gentle, highly qualified instructors in our heated 50- meter Olympic size pool.

We have a variety of  private, and semi-private lessons available for all ages and abilities. Upon request, adult and extended level lessons are also available. Lessons are available during spring and the summer months and are offered upon request and instructor availability.
